Dissolution
The semesterwork Dissolution was created in the course named “holy and profane rooms“ of the lecturer Emanuel Raab and deals with the body as space.
For the seminar I wrote a theory paper on „The Incarnate in Painting“ and also dealt with skin color in painting in my own photographic realization. The skin color is reminiscent of those from Renaissance painting, as well as the late Middle Ages, and shows a decay of the skin.
I wanted to achieve this effect to solve the body as a space and show the dissolution of the body with long exposure.
